Forgotten Sky

When your comfort zone just hurts
When that song just gets so old
When the knife just makes you spurt
When that tale just ain’t what you told

You’ll find the narrower bridge
You’ll actually want to live
It will be all you ever wanted
Your house no longer haunted
You’ll feel you can reconnect

With dirty diamonds in your rear view mirror
But you’ll be incorrect
You’ll see that heartbreak would just be nearer

Stay to the steady path, but don’t grow old
Take chances meant to enliven
Stand in the bright lights, let yourself be bold
Then you’ll find yourself in line with
A bouncing sun light enough to fly
Toward your forgotten sky
